We have an immediate opening for a Salary plus Commission Sales Representative position at our hauling location site in Sour Lake.  

This role is Responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent commercial and construction waste services in an assigned territory.
Sales Representative responsibilities include developing strong relationships with existing accounts, answering client inquiries and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will work with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Operations departments) to improve the entire customer experience.


• Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty. 
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, lines of business, pricing structures, and offer additional services as appropriate to assigned existing customers.
• Schedule and complete proactive customer calls.
• Visit and capture key information in the Company’s information systems
• Perform contractual re-signs on existing customers to extend customer relationship and increase customer profitability where appropriate. 
• Respond to all cancellation requests. 
• Proactively communicate with or respond to customers in support of Company pricing initiatives. 
• Regularly meet with Manager to review weekly customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals. 
• Partner with the operations team, when needed, to address customer services issues. 
• Build relationships and increase Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other similar activities. 
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned. • Proven experience as an Account Manager or other relevant role
• Solid Waste experience would be great
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to fulfill customer needs
• Able to juggle multiple account management projects, while maintaining good attention to detail
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to communicate, present solutions and influence decision makers
• Must have at least 2 years Outside Sales experience and Solid Waste experience is helpful

This is a salary plus commission position.
